ABT Electronics Warehouse Expansion

93,806 SF new warehouse addition built adjacent to Abt Electronics retail operations located in Glenview, IL.

The Project features:

• Site work with utilities
• Precast building
• A critical floor flatness with a floor finish of FF60/FL 4S was achieved

Within this 61’ tall warehouse a 36’ high storage racking system was installed allowing Abt Electronics to maximize the storage capacity of the facility. The racking system requires the use of special fork lifts controlled by a wire embedded into the slab. The system allows quick and efficient stocking and order picking.

Abt and Osman Construction have worked together on many projects over the years. Other recent projects include; 2nd floor warehouse addition, 2nd floor mezzanine, dock expansion and a drive aisle expansion.
