Oakton Community College
Des Plaines, IL
The Oakton Community College West End Phase II Renovation consisted of remodeling the main corridor, and various classrooms on the west end of the Des Plaines campus. The project was completed on time in a very tight schedule. Work was performed around occupied areas during daytime, evening, and weekends without any interruptions to ongoing classes over a 3-month period.
Osman Construction worked closely with the college, its architects, engineers and representatives to insure that the design intent and project criteria were achieved.
The project was brought in under budget and allowed for the addition of (2) new kilns in the ceramics classroom and various IT upgrades. It was communicated to Osman by the college administrators at the grand opening of the west end that this was one of the smoothest and best managed projects that the college had experienced.
