Strack & Van Til hired Osman Construction for the renovation work to their existing 89,000 SF store located in Schererville, Indiana. SVT set out to accomplish not just a refresh, but a pivotal store remodel.

The Project features:

• The inside wall at the front entrance was torn down creating a wide open space allowing for the relocation of the Produce and Floral departments.
• An enclosed overhang at the entrance allowing protection from weather conditions was added for customer convenience.
• A Café with an indoor and outdoor seating area was added.
• Additional features include a lobster tank, full-service butcher counter, an expanded liquor department, bulk food bins, new dairy cases with doors to conserve energy, LED lighting in refrigerated and frozen cases, new flooring and wall tile, millwork, metal lettering throughout, thirteen (13) checklanes.
• Osman has completed the remodel to SVT’s Highland, IN location including the remodels to (4) Ultra Food Stores, a division of SVT in the Chicagoland area; Lombard, Downers Grove, Prospect Heights and Wheaton.
