Whimsy Freight Terminal is an Intermodal Freight and Maintenance facility built on the southwest side of Chicago.

The Project features:

• The building was solid masonry construction with a monochromatic color scheme
• Building consists of a large (2) bay maintenance area
• Office, Break Room, Storage Room, and a Locker Room with (2) Toilet Rooms and Shower

Osman Construction worked closely with the Architect and Owner to value engineer and provide a savings as there were contaminated soils issues on the site. In addition to creating added expense, the soils issues also delayed the start of building construction, yet Osman Construction overcame the delay and delivered the building on schedule.
